LINKCUT
Linkcut, a collaborative effort with my friend Lanre, is a web app designed for link shortening and QR code generation. Our goal was straightforward: “create an experience that makes people eager to shorten all their links.” I designed the UI and implemented the it using HTML, Tailwind CSS, and Javascript.
Swift Link-shortening
Linkcut ensures users can shorten a link within seconds, prioritizing efficiency and user-friendly interactions. For those seeking a more enhanced experience, users have the option to create an account which enables them to create a QR code and see analytics on their shortened links.
One-Screen Dashboard
To keep the product as intuitive as possible, we decided to create a one-screen dashboard and make good use of modals. This decision not only upheld simplicity in design but also resulted in a substantial reduction in development time.
